COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 westbound closed the freeway just west of Brice Road Wednesday morning.

I-70 WB was closed around 8:20 a.m. I-70 westbound lanes reopened to traffic at 8:53 a.m. The ramp from Brice Road to I-70 WB reopened after 9 a.m.
The accident was just west of the Brice Road exit and might have included up to seven vehicles.
CPD traffic control and medics were called to the scene close to 8 a.m.
Med-Flight transported one victim to Grant Medical Center in an unknown condition. Another person was transported to Mount Carmel East Medical Center in an unknown condition. A third was transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
Reader Jeff Couch said a related tractor-trailer crash happened after the other multiple-vehicle crash. NBC 4 has not confirmed this information.
