COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Thieves have been targeting Downtown vehicles.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS Wednesday.
If you drive and park Downtown, you should be aware of some recent criminal activity.
CPD told NBC 4 there were 21 vehicle break-ins during the past two weeks and another 16 vehicles' windows were smashed.
GPS systems, stereos, DVDs, iPods, clothes even sunglasses were taken.
The areas where the thieves target included Mt. Vernon Avenue to the north, Pearl Street to the west, Rich Street to the south and Interstate 71 to the east.
Most of the break-ins happened between 7 and 9 a.m. and around 7 p.m., according to CPD.
