COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A 21-year-old man was stabbed after a verbal dispute Wednesday afternoon.

CPD said Tjuan Peeples was involved in a verbal dispute that resulted in Peeples being stabbed one time in the upper torso.
The incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Whitethorne Ave. on the city's West Side.
The 20-year-old male suspect was not at the scene when responding officers arrived.
Peeples was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
CPD continued to investigate the stabbing.
