COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A serial robber has targeted both businesses and people in one Columbus neighborhood.

Columbus police said a serial robber remained on the loose and has been responsible for six violent robberies in less than a month.
CPD's robbery squad continued to investigate the robberies that took place in the city's Short North from Sunday, Dec. 28, to Tuesday, Jan. 13.
Four of the robberies were on High Street and happened at businesses: Mike's Bar at 724 N. High St., Mary Catherine's Antiques at 1130 N. High St., Planet Smoothie at 765 N. High St. and Jeni's Ice Cream at 714 N. High St.
The other two robberies were on individuals: a victim was robbed in the 800 block of North Park Street, and a taxi-cab driver was robbed at Warren and Summit streets.
The robberies happened at various times of the day.
CPD described the robbery suspect as a white male between the ages of 28 and 40. He's 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 160 to 170 pounds. He has brown hair and wore a black, hooded sweatshirt and black jeans. He frequently carried a knife.
One witness described seeing tattoos on the suspect's fingers that resembled rings.
