HEATH, Ohio-- Heath police released autopsy findings after a missing woman was found dead in a Heath trailer.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
Heath police on Saturday asked for the public's help to locate Priscilla Dawn Hickman, a local woman who hadn’t been seen since New Year's.
The department issued a release Sunday that said authorities found the body of a white female in a Heath trailer park called Ramp Creek but did not say whether the body belonged to the missing Hickman. Monday, the department released information that confirmed the found body was Hickman.
A spokesman for the Licking County coroner's office confirmed the body was that of 46-year-old Hickman late Sunday.
The body was found in a trailer on Thornwood Drive.
Preliminary autopsy information released Monday indicated Hickman died due to strangulation.
Posters with a picture of Hickman were posted in local grocery stores in early January.
