DELAWARE, Ohio -- Multiple Delaware authorities were called to a propane-tank explosion Tuesday afternoon.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
Fire crews and Delaware police were called to the 100 block of Cheshire Street, east of U.S. Route 23, on reports of a propane-tank explosion. That was before 1 p.m.
Two people who were in the home were transported to an area hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
Chopper 4 views showed the explosion caused severe damage to at least one residence.
State fire marshal's and ATF investigators were called to the scene to investigate, and the fire was ruled accidental Wednesday.
One home was destroyed and two more were damaged. Investigators said they could not rule out a malfunction of the natural gas delivery system into the home as a
possible cause. Representatives from the utility providers and insurance company will conduct additional testing at a later date.
Cheshire Street was closed during the investigation.
