MARION COUNTY, Ohio – A tanker truck crashed on its side late Wednesday morning.
NBC 4's Mikaela Hunt reported with the FAST FACTS.
Marion County's EMA Director and a couple of firefighters were called to the scene after a 6,000-gallon tanker went off the side of the road on White Oaks Road.
Crews were going to offload the gas so the tanker could be righted.
Harry Burdick said the crew planned to be at the scene most of the day and into the night, but the situation was fortunate.
Due to the weather, the tanker poses less of a threat, officials told Hunt.
Burdick said the driver couldn't tell where the road and ditch met because the county received so much snow.
Burdick estimated 8 to 10 inches.
