CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Police in Cincinnati say a 7-year-old boy died at his home after being shot, and it appears the shooter was an 11-year-old boy. Police have identified the victim as Earl Robinson, a student at South Avondale Elementary School, but the name of the older child was not released.
Investigators said two other children and an adult were in the home at the time of the shooting. They didn't know if the shooting was accidental. A rifle was found near the victim's body, but police weren't sure if it was the weapon used. A week ago, authorities in Minford, in southern Ohio, investigated a fatal shooting in which a man said his 2 year-old son was killed by his 8-year-old brother.
Also this month, police in Jackson, in southern Ohio, said a 4-year-old boy got a shotgun from a bedroom closet and wounded his 18-year-old baby sitter because the sitter accidentally stepped on the child's foot.
