KNOX COUNTY, Ohio -- The Mt. Gilead Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a motorcycle crash that seriously injured two people.
Troopers were called to Sparta Road, east of Granny-Creek Road, in Knox County Saturday night just after 9:30 p.m.
Reports say 37-year-old Lester Moore and 38-year-old Connie Fyffe were traveling on the motorcycle and failed to negotiate a curve, driving off the left side of the road.
The motorcycle came back onto the road, overturned and ejected both occupants.
Both occupants were flown to OSU Medical Center; neither of the occupants were wearing a helmet.
Troopers suspect alcohol is a factor in the crash.
