COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A murder suspect received his bond hearing Monday after a homicide Sunday.

Nelson Romine Jr.’s bond was set at $100,000 Monday in Franklin County municipal arraignment court.
He was arraigned on murder charges.
Detectives arrested 26-year-old Romine for the murder of 34-year-old A. Kenneth Jackson Sunday morning.
Columbus police said Jackson was fatally shot in a parking lot early Sunday.
The incident happened shortly before 2:39 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Joyce Avenue on the city’s North Side.
Jackson was found in a parking lot on Joyce Avenue around 2:45 early Sunday morning.
In a release issued by detectives, the investigation found that Romine was upset out of a possible theft incident and was pointing a handgun at several people in the parking lot on Joyce Avenue. When Romine was pointing the gun at a random male in the group, Jackson approached to help the man. Romine shot Jackson one time in the stomach.
Jackson later died at Grant Medical Center as a result of his injuries.
