PERRY COUNTY -- A boil alert went into effect for some Perry County residents Tuesday.

Northern Perry County Water issued a boil alert for customers in the following areas: All customers on Twp. Rd. 500 and all areas west of Twp. Rd. 500.
The boil alert remains in effect until further notice.
