MIFFLING TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- The Franklin County sheriff's office issued an alert for an endangered missing child.

Obatala Murdaugh, 16, was last seen at his Genesse Avenue home at 10 p.m. Thursday.
Obatala’s mother found a note that said he was addicted to marijuana and wanted to commit suicide.
Obatala is a black male who is 5 feet 6 inches tall. He weighs 160 pounds.
He has black hair and brown eyes.
He was wearing black Dickies shorts, a striped shirt, tennis shoes and a black book bag the last time he was seen.
Anyone with information on Obatala’s whereabouts was encouraged to call the sheriff’s office at 614-462-3365.
