COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus Division of Police Homicide Detectives are currently investigating the city’s latest homicide that happened early Saturday.
Columbus police were called to a home on East Morrill Avenue on reports of shots fired.
Shortly after arriving on the scene, officers found a man who appeared to be in his 40’s suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
Medics were called and the man was taken to Grant Hospital where he died shortly after 4 a.m.
The coroner's office identified the victim as 40 year old Richard Rozelle. There are no suspects and/or motives for the crime.
