STREETSBORO, Ohio -- Investigators are trying to determine if a man whose body was discovered in a golf course pond tried to pull off a carjacking on the Ohio Turnpike.
The State Highway Patrol says the body was dressed in clothing matching the clothes worn by the suspect in an attempted carjacking on the turnpike Thursday night.
Troopers say the man had been picked up by a motorist and there was a struggle inside the car. The patrol says the driver pulled over and the suspect fled on foot and was last seen running toward Boulder Creek Golf Club in Streetsboro.
An autopsy was done Tuesday but no cause of death was determined. Investigator Tom Decker with the Portage County coroner's office says the body was identified as 38-year-old Floyd
Robinson of Youngstown.
