HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- An accident causes a utility pole to snap, and three truck drivers were struck inside their vehicles for hours.

According to Hamilton Township rescue officials, around 1:30 a.m. Monday morning, a driver of a Buckeye Concrete mixing truck caught a guideline going to a utility pole on London Groveport Road on the city's South Side.
The top of the pole snapped, causing live electrical lines to fall on top of three trucks.
The drivers were told to stay inside the trucks until South Central Power got out to the scene and shut off the power.
The drivers got out of the trucks uninjured around 3:30 a.m.
The Environmental Protection Agency was called to the scene to ensure the site's environmental safety.
