COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A portion of Interstate 71 in the Downtown split reopened to traffic after an accident involving a semi and a resulting fuel spill.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
Southbound I-71 at Interstate 70 reopened on the east side of the split shortly before 2 p.m.
Authorities closed the freeway shortly before 11:30 a.m.
A tractor-trailer jackknifed, and diesel fuel was spilled on the roadway.
There was no access from I-71 southbound to I-70 westbound.
