Columbus police has surveillance video of an armed robbery and asked for your help to identify the suspect.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Columbus police has surveillance video of an armed robbery and asked for your help to identify the suspect.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Police said the suspect walked into the Family Dollar at 3577 E. Livingston Ave. last Tuesday, pulled out a silver revolver and demanded the clerk give him all the money in the register.

The suspect was seen last fleeing across East Livingston Avenue towards the Colonial Village apartments.

He is described as a black male who is 25 to 35 years old.

He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds.

He had a scraggly beard and was wearing a black, hooded jacket; blue jeans; white tennis shoes and sunglasses at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information was encouraged to call CPD's robbery squad at 614-645-4665 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS.
