MARENGO, Ohio -- An Amber Alert is canceled after a mother suspected of taking a 17-month-old girl surrenders to authorities.

Kaia R. Bracy was last seen on County Road 26 in Marengo in Morrow County shortly before 3 p.m. She was believed to have been taken by her non-custodial mother, who allegedly made previous threats to harm the girl. The suspect, 23-year-old Melody Collins, was described as being suicidal and bi-polar.

Collins turned herself in at the Delaware County Sheriff's Office. The girl was unharmed.
