COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Authorities asked for your help to solve a fatal shooting case.
NBC 4’s Mike Jackson reported with the BOTTOM LINE on how your tips could mean a reward.
Curley Cooper, 25, was parked in front of 963 Kelton Ave. in a yellow 2005 Chevy Monte Carlo.
That was at about 8 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2009.
A young black man exited an SUV and approached Cooper’s vehicle.
Authorities said the suspect shot Cooper multiple times in the upper body and fled the East Side scene on foot.
Cooper was transported to Grant Medical Center. He died from his injuries the next day.
Central Ohio Crime Stoppers posted a reward of as much as $2,000 for any information received by Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, that leads to the arrest and/or indictment of the person(s) responsible.
