COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Buckeye Nation is getting eager to get on with football season, but some say the wind has been taken out of the sails after three
consecutive bowl losses.
When the Bucks take on the Midshipmen on September 5th in Columbus, Becky Baker, an OSU graduate, says you can bet Buckeye Fever will be as strong as in years past.
"It's big, it's huge. I don't think there's a let down anytime, Ohio Stadium, first kickoff Saturday, it's huge every year", said Baker.
However, others say the bar has been lifted too high for the Buckeyes.
"We've played some tough competition in the last couple of bowl games and we played fairly well, but not up to Ohio State standards", one student shared.
