ASHVILLE, Ohio -- A hardware store was burglarized, and authorities took three people, including two juveniles, into custody the same day.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
Ashville Hardware at 286 Long St. was burglarized overnight Tuesday, and authorities said an undetermined number of firearms were stolen.
Ashville police and the Pickaway County sheriff’s office arrested three suspects in connection with the crime, and Detective Jeff George told NBC 4 two of the suspects are juveniles.
One or more of the suspects used a concrete block to smash through the front glass and then smashed the handgun case, authorities said.
Firearms were on the floor when authorities were called to the scene close to 1 a.m. Tuesday. Ammunition was not stolen.
Authorities said the hardware store also was burglarized about a year ago, and firearms were taken during that crime, too.
Authorities did not release information on whether the firearms were recovered.
The suspects were scheduled for arraignment Wednesday morning.
Detectives continued to investigate.
