COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A man was shot in the face after an argument Tuesday evening, and CPD continued to investigate.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Derrick A. Porter, 20, became involved in a physical altercation with a group in the parking lot of a business at 2441 Lockbourne Rd. about 6:51 p.m., according to CPD.

A black male involved in the fight ran to a nearby vehicle and pulled out a handgun, police said.

The suspect shot Porter in the face one time, according to a police report.

The suspect fled the South Side scene in a white vehicle.

No information was released on Porter’s transport or condition.

CPD continued to investigate.
