WORTHINGTON, Ohio -- Emergency crews responded to a report that a train collided with a semi and derailed Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. at Linworth Road and state Route 161.

When the train collided with the semi, it derailed. The cars and semi were empty at the time of the crash.

State Route 161 was closed at Linworth Road during the investigation and cleanup effort. The roadway has reopened to all traffic.

According to Worthington police, no injuries were reported.
