DAYTON, Ohio -- Sheriff's deputies say the bodies of a man and his wife were found inside a Dayton-area home and that their deaths appear to be the result of a homicide-suicide.
Montgomery County Sheriff Phil Plummer says the bodies were found Thursday in suburban Harrison Township by the couple's 16-year-old grandson, who had been mowing grass nearby. Plummer says the bodies had gunshot wounds to the heads.
Deputies discovered a small semiautomatic handgun in the house.
The identities of the couple were not immediately released.
Plummer says he believes the man was 63 and the woman 57.
