Witnesses say a driver blacked out and drove through a fence and hit a sign before crashing into an apartment building.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A driver crashed into a far North Side apartment building Sunday.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

A woman was transported to a local hospital in stable condition after an accident in the 8200 block of Quail Haven Court.

Witnesses said the driver blacked out, drove through a fence, hit a sign and stopped halfway inside the apartment building.

Authorities were called to the scene.

No one was inside the apartment at the time of the accident.

Building managers were called to ensure the structure was stable before the car was removed from the building.
