CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – A two-day multi-agency police saturation enforcement concentrated in Ross County has resulted in multiple drug arrests and the recovery of a stolen vehicle.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Chillicothe police and the Ross County Drug Task Force saturated the roads of Ross County in efforts to apprehend impaired drivers and individuals transporting illegal contraband.
The two-day effort resulted in 20 drivers being cited for operating a vehicle while impaired.
A total of 588 vehicles were stopped during the enforcement blitz which resulted in multiple arrests.
Nearly 77 grams of marijuana, 5 grams of heroin, 5 grams of crack, 4 grams of cocaine and 174 pills were impounded during the exercise.
This is the fifth time the agencies have come together in efforts to deter criminal activity in Ross County.
