COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Columbus Division of Police is asking for help from anyone with information concerning a rash of burglaries on the northeast side. Police say criminals are breaking into homes in broad daylight. The thieves hit homes east of I-71 and south of I-270 between noon and 2 p.m. taking wallets, security cameras and jewelry. Police are stepping up patrols in the area and are asking if you see anything suspicious to call.
