Drive-In Moviegoers Testify In Court Fight

»  Comments | Post a Comment

ELYRIA, Ohio -- Drive-in theater patrons in northeast Ohio have testified that lights from an adjacent sports complex made their movie look washed-out and faded.

One patron of the Aut-O-Rama Twin Drive-In Theater southwest of Cleveland testified Wednesday that the athletic-field lights left her unable to tell what was going on in the movie. Another testified that he wouldn't go back until the light problem is fixed.

Testimony was scheduled to resume Thursday in the theater's lawsuit against the nearby Ohio Sports Park in North Ridgeville. The lawsuit is seeking $50,000 in damages.

The sports center opened last month and says it meets local light control ordinances.
