TRIADELPHIA, W.Va. -- There are politicians who talk about being tough on crime, and then there's Kenneth Murphy.
The Triadelphia mayor was involved in a bloody scuffle Tuesday night with a man suspected of breaking into a local business.
An Ohio County sheriff's report says Murphy saw the man climbing out of a window at a tire store and told him to stop. The man refused and the two fought. The suspect fled, but when police
arrived, Murphy had the man's bloody shirt as evidence.
Murphy also had blood on his head, but it wasn't his blood.
Sheriff Pat Butler commends Murphy for his action, and says police have issued an arrest warrant for Delbert Ray Hall, who they believe was the man Murphy fought.
