COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Four. That's the number of pools open for Columbus residents to enjoy this summer.
There are a total of nine outdoor pools in Columbus, but after budget cuts, the city decided to close down five of them. Now, local residents are concerned about what their kids will do this summer.
"That's going to be rough for a lot of people that don't have means for transportation, to make it to the other pools that are open" said, one resident.
The 4 pools that are open are:
Dodge Pool On Sullivant Avenue
Marion Franklin Pool On Lockbourne Road
Tuttle Pool On West Oakland Avenue
Windsor Pool on Windsor Avenue
Pools will open Sunday. They will be open everyday from 1:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. until August 23.
