PATASKALA, Ohio -- A local man was arrested after police said he stabbed and held his estranged wife at knifepoint.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
Officers were dispatched to 1080 Oxford Dr. N. at 5:32 p.m. Saturday on a report of a stabbing with a woman held at knifepoint.
Officers also were advised a male was suicidal.
Phillip Swanagin, 38, was taken into police custody.
Victim Tanya Swanagin, 41, was transported to a local hospital for lacerations to her leg, neck, and hands.
Pataskala police confirmed Phillip and Tanya had been married but were separated currently.
Phillip was arrested and transported to the Licking County jailhouse.
He faces charges of felonious assault, kidnapping, burglary and violation of a civil protection order. Additional charges may follow.
The incident remained under investigation.
