COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A 4-year-old boy was found alone with a dead body in a North Side apartment Saturday, and CPD released the identity of the deceased.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
Columbus police and fire departments were dispatched to the 1900 block of Agler Road on a report of a possible dead body at about 1:29 p.m.
The resident manager of the complex called authorities after another resident told her about an odor.
Fire personnel arrived and pronounced 41-year-old Henry L. Reynolds dead at 1:34 p.m. Reynolds was not identifiable at the scene but was identified later by fingerprints.
Medics discovered a 4-year-old child in the home. He was removed from the apartment and later transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital as a precaution.
The child was determined to be Reynolds’ son.
