COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A Columbus police officer was injured in a crash, and police said the other involved vehicle fled the scene.

The officer was responding to a call with his or her sirens and lights on.
The officer was traveling northbound on 4th Street on the city's East Side when a vehicle pulled out in front of the cruiser.
The officer swerved to miss the vehicle and crashed into a pole.
CPD said the other vehicle didn’t stop.
The officer was treated for a bump on his or her head.
CPD said it will try to identify the other vehicle and the driver but the cruiser’s dash cam might have been damaged in the accident.
