COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A man was killed after he was ambushed by three gunman late Monday, police said.

Kenneth Jenkins, 31, was shot several times after he arrived at an apartment on the 1200 block of Metro Place, according to CPD.
The apartment is part of Poindexter Village on the city’s near East Side. It also is near Beatty Park.
CPD said he was ambushed by at least three gunmen shortly before 9 p.m. Monday.
Jenkins was transported to Grant Medical Center in cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
CPD said it does not have any suspects currently but the suspects left the scene in a light-colored vehicle.
