DAYTON, Ohio -- Prosecutors say a man convicted of rapes in Ohio and Kentucky has pleaded guilty to another rape.
Dubbed the "blue-eyed rapist" by authorities, David Hopper pleaded guilty Tuesday in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court to rape, aggravated robbery and kidnapping.
The 45-year-old Hopper, of Burlington, Ky., is accused of assaulting a woman who was working at a cell-phone store near the Dayton Mall in 2004.
As part of a plea agreement, Hopper will be sentenced to 46 years in prison, with 40 years to be served while Hopper is serving time for previous sentences.
Last June, Hopper pleaded guilty to rape and other charges in attacks on two women at a model home near Lebanon.
In February 2008, Hopper was sentenced to 20 years in prison in the 1994 rape of a Dry Ridge, Ky., store clerk.
