COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A 15-year-old was rushed to a local hospital after he was shot on a West Side porch Tuesday night.

CPD said three to four black, male suspects walked past a home on the 200 block of South Burgess Avenue at about 9 p.m.
The suspects allegedly had a verbal exchange with the teen victim and several of his friends who were standing on a porch.
CPD said the suspects continued to walk eastbound and past the house when one of the suspects pulled out a firearm and fired several shots towards the home.
One of the bullets struck the 15-year-old male; the other rounds struck the house, CPD said.
The victim was transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in critical but stable condition.
The suspect who allegedly fired the weapon was described as a black male who is approximately 18 to 22 years old. He has dreadlocks and a gray patch in the front of his hair.
CPD continued to investigate.
