HOUSTON, Texas
The mother of an 8-year-old Texas girl believes it was more than miscommunication that resulted
in her daughter being one of two unaccompanied minors who were placed on wrong Continental Express flights over the weekend.
Wendy Babineaux said Wednesday she is "getting the run-around" in her efforts to find out from Continental Airlines how exactly her daughter Taylor Williams, who flew out of Houston, ended up in Fayetteville, Ark. on Saturday when she was supposed to go to Charlotte. N.C.
On Sunday, 10-year-old Miriam Kamens was supposed to go to from Boston to Cleveland but was mistakenly sent to Newark, N.J.
Continental says it was miscommunication among staff members that resulted in the two girls being boarded on the wrong aircraft.
