COLUMBUS, Ohio -- CPD issued warrants for the arrests of three suspects after police say a man was ambushed and fatal shot Monday.

Kenneth Jenkins, 31, was shot several times after he arrived at an apartment on the 1200 block of Metro Place, according to CPD.
The apartment is part of Poindexter Village on the city’s near East Side. It also is near Beatty Park.
CPD said he was ambushed by at least three gunmen shortly before 9 p.m. Monday.
Jenkins was transported to Grant Medical Center in cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
CPD issued warrants for the arrests of 23-year-old Markus Thomas, 25-year-old Lukeus Thomas and 26-year-old Shane (a.k.a. Landon) Mitchell.
Markus and Lukeus were arrested Friday night by SWAT officers. Mitchell remained on the loose.
A fourth suspect, Jason Lindsey, turned himself in Tuesday and was being held in the Franklin County jail.
