COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The ramp from I-71 southbound to I-70 westbound reopen open to traffic before 5:30 p.m.

The ramp was closed for hours Friday due to a jackknifed tractor-trailer and a resulting fuel spill.
The crash was on the east side of the I-70/I-71 split on Interstate 71 southbound.
The closing happened before 10 a.m. and continued until almost 5:30 p.m.
I-71 southbound was closed at the east side of the split.
I-71 southbound drivers could not access I-70 westbound.
Southbound traffic was diverted to I-70 eastbound.
There weren’t any reported injuries.
Motorists were advised to use I-270 as an alternative or take Interstate 670 to state Route 315.
Reports indicate there was a small fire at the scene, and authorities called for absorbent materials.
