ASHVILLE, Ohio -- A portion of the roof at a high-school construction site collapsed Saturday afternoon.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
A portion of the roof at Teays Valley High School collapsed at about 12:40 p.m.
Reportedly, the collapse happened in the older section of the school in the gymnasium; the school is under construction.
The construction company was at the scene according to the Pickaway County sheriff’s office.
No one was injured in the incident, and apparently, no structural damage was done. The initial theory on the cause of the mishap was that while the construction company was doing work on the roof this week, workers shifted gravel from one half of the roof over to the other.
The extra concentrated weight might have been too much for the area, according to officials.
