BLENDON TOWNSHIP -- Authorities were called to a fatal motorcycle crash Sunday morning.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
The crash happened at Central College Road, east of Lee Road in Blendon Township before 10 a.m.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash which occurred on Central College Road east of lee Road.
The motorcycle, a black Honda 1000, was being ridden by Robert W. Wilson, 41, of Westerville.
Wilson was driving the motorcycle eastbound, failed to make a curve in the road, slid off the right side of the road and came to rest in a field.
Wilson was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at 9:44 a.m. by Westervillle medics.
Alcohol was not suspected currently. Speed was a factor. A helmet was worn. Weather was not a factor.
The Franklin County sheriff’s office was in charge of the accident-investigation scene.
The accident remained under investigation.
