COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Early Sunday morning, firefighters were dispatched to Waggoner Road in Jefferson Township on what was believed to be a car and driver in the water.

Crews pulled the car out of a pond, but the driver could not be located.
Dive teams from Columbus fire were called in to search the pond where the vehicle was found.
Currently, they have not located a victim. Officials on the scene still were gathering facts.
It was officially reported that a resident of Jefferson Run spotted a vehicle sitting at the edge of a pond at near the development entrance.
The witness said the car seemed to be just sitting on the grass with its motor and lights on.
Once the witness got turned around to see if there was anything wrong, the car was sinking in the pond.
Police and fire were called immediately after.
The Franklin County sheriff's office was in charge of the investigation.
Officials said they believe it was a stolen vehicle that was dumped in the pond.
The Columbus D.A.R.T squad used this incident as a training session for their team.
Jefferson Run is located on the city's far East Side.
