COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A robbery suspect turned himself in to Columbus police.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
A robbery suspect held up a campus Giant Eagle on High Street at about 3:34 p.m. Saturday.
CPD said the suspect walked into the store and demanded money from a cashier. He implied he was armed.
When the register didn’t open, he went to customer service.
The customer-service-desk employee was able to give him an undetermined amount of cash, according to CPD.
The suspect fled on foot towards North High Street, CPD said.
CPD told NBC 4 William McCleod Jr., 45, turned himself in and confessed complete involvement.
He was arrested and charged with robbery, a second-degree felony.
