COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A woman was beaten and possibly stabbed during an altercation on the city’s East Side Sunday.

Chantelle Dates, 33, was in front a home in the 1600 block of East Livingston Avenue when she got into an altercation with one or more unknown individuals. CPD said she was drinking beer.
Dates fled west to the rear of a Columbus Public Library at 1566 E. Livingston Ave. where patrol officers found her at about 9:20 p.m.
CPD said Dates was beaten and possibly stabbed during the incident.
She was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.
