COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Columbus police continued to looking for a suspect who allegedly robbed a Family Dollar Monday.

A suspect entered the Family Dollar at 1 159 W. Broad St. on the city’s West Side at about 12:09 p.m. Monday.
He approached an employee in a checkout lane.
The suspect demanded cash from the cash register and raised his shirt to display a handgun in his waist band, CPD said.
The store employee complied and gave him an undetermined amount of cash, police said. The suspect fled the scene.
The suspect was described as a black male who is between 25 and 30 years old.
He is 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs between 130 and 150 pounds.
He was wearing a blue “Lowes” short-sleeve T-shirt with a design on the back and blue jeans.
CPD said investigators believe the same suspect may have committed at least three other robberies within 24-hour period -- all on the West Side.
