COLUMBUS, Ohio – Early Sunday at about 1:30 a.m., police officers were called to the area of Interstate 670 near Cleveland Avenue on a serious car crash.
Columbus police tell NBC 4= two vehicles were traveling on I-670 at a high rate of speed when one of the drivers lost control.
The car flipped several times and ended up near the entrance ramp.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene and a woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
No names have been released pending next-of-kin notification.
The freeway was closed for several hours during the investigation and is now back open.
