COLUMBUS, Ohio – Tuesday at 3 p.m. on NBC 4, you will be able to see a local celebrity showing off her own invention.
Cassie Chenoweth is a fifth-grader at Clinton Elementary School.
Last year for the Invention Convention she came up with the Pet Occupier.
Cats can step on a pad that triggers a switch.
The switch then turns on a motor that spins feathers around for the cat to play with.
Cassie’s invention came to the attention of Ellen Degeneres who invited Cassie to be on her show.
