Man Pleads Not Guilty To Corpse Abuse Charges

»  Comments | Post a Comment

CINCINNATI -- A former morgue worker already in prison for having sex with a body awaiting autopsy has pleaded not guilty to two more charges of sexually abusing corpses.

Judge William Mallory of Hamilton County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday set bond at $50,000 for 55-year-old Kenneth Douglas. That ensures Douglas is held in the Hamilton County jail in Cincinnati, instead of being returned to prison, until the latest charges are handled.

Douglas was indicted last month on the new charges. He has served about six months of a three-year sentence imposed last fall for violating probation and having sex with the corpse of 19-year-old Karen Range of Cincinnati in 1982.

He is now accused of assaulting two the bodies of additional women at the Hamilton County morgue in 1991.
