COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Two men were fatally shot during overnight robberies, and Columbus police have two murders to solve.

CPD homicide detectives continued to investigate two separate homicides that occurred overnight.
The first homicide happened shortly after 10 p.m. on the city's Northeast Side.
Police said an Iftin employee was shot in the upper body during a robbery at the Cleveland Avenue restaurant.
Three black, male suspects entered robbed the business and two patrons and shot employee Daud Osman, detectives said.
Osman, 38, died just before midnight at OSU Medical Center Main.
Detectives continued to search for the three suspects.
The second homicide occurred on Heyl Avenue on the city's near South Side just before 11 p.m. Thursday.
Police said they received a call stating where the victim of a shooting could be found. Police found 30-year-old Chad Ellis shot in the head in his vehicle on Ellsworth Avenue, south of Gates Street. Detectives say he had been robbed and shot in his vehicle on the 700 block of Heyl Avenue and that an acquaintance had apparently driven him and the vehicle from the scene.
Ellis died just before midnight at Grant Medical Center.
CPD said detectives don't have any suspects for the second murder currently but are interviewing witnesses.
