PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- An Amber Alert was issued for a 15-year-old boy after police in suburban Detroit said he was missing with an 18-year-old and believed to be in extreme danger.
The state of Ohio issued an endangered child alert to the media early Tuesday morning.
Details of the alert from Michigan State Police said Justin Lee Wainright was reported missing from his home in Wayne County's Plymouth Township.
Police said he was last seen at a rest area near Dayton, Ohio, early Monday.
Police said in a statement that based on writings that were found there "is a possibility of homicide-suicide."
Justin is 15 years old. He's a white male who is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. His hair and eyes are brown.
Police said the boy was believed to be with Joshua Kyle Zohr in a red 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix with a Michigan license plate BYP1180.
Zohr is a white male who is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. His eyes are hazel, but his hair color is unknown.
Anyone with information or who sees Zohr, Justin or the vehicle was asked to call 911.
